About Us
Enid b. is a North Dallas-based artisan skin and hair care brand inspired by Jamaican heritage and the wisdom of founder Kareen Harmon’s grandmother, Enid, who introduced her to the healing power of herbs. What began in 2012 with a shea butter formula to soothe Kareen’s severe dry skin has grown into a full line of artisan bar soaps, body butters, scrubs, herbal oils, and more.
Every formula is thoughtfully crafted in small batches using high-quality organic, wild-crafted, and locally sourced ingredients—including herbs from our herbal garden—and fresh goat milk from Bonton Farms in South Dallas. Every product is made with intention, eco-conscious packaging, and a deep respect for nature and tradition.
If you have any questions or would like to inquire about custom or wholesale orders, feel free to reach out to us at info@enidb.com—we’d love to hear from you.
Thank you for visiting our shop. We hope your order brings joy, nourishment, and a bit of everyday luxury to you or someone you love.
A Few Fun Facts About Kareen
- I am married to Eddie, who wears many hats as: my partner in life, my friend, editor-in-chief (a role he didn't sign up for), co-brainstormer, and Enid b. unpaid Vice President of North America and Beyond.
- Nature is where I see God's hands very evidently, so you will often find me in our herbal garden, even in the hot summer heat.
- I love to teach others and share my knowledge, so I teach workshops year-round on herbal preventative medicine, food preservation, soap-making, and gardening.
- I have been a lover of old black and white movies (The Women from the 1940s is a fave) since I was a teen, and I have an affinity for the cheesiest movies ever, like Nacho Libre.
- I have a love of fruits that stems from living on my grandparents' homestead in Jamaica as a child (jackfruit is a fave), but my guilty pleasure snack is soft-baked chocolate chip cookies.
